About Climate TRACE

Independent Emissions Tracking Coalition · Global

Climate TRACE is an independent non-profit coalition that uses satellite imagery, remote sensing, machine learning, and ground-based observations to track greenhouse gas emissions at the asset level worldwide, in near real-time and without relying on self-reported national inventories. It covers over 352 million assets across more than 75 emission sectors globally, publishing sector- and facility-level annual GHG estimates. Data is freely accessible through its online inventory and bulk download.
