Berkeley Earth global land+ocean surface temperature
Monthly global surface temperature anomalies (1850–present) combining Berkeley Earth's land record (>40,000 stations homogenised) with kriged HadSST oceans. Land-only "Complete TAVG" back to 1750. Includes 1°×1° and 0.25°×0.25° gridded NetCDF.

About Berkeley Earth
Independent Non-Profit Research Institute · Global
Berkeley Earth is an independent non-profit research institute that produces an alternative global surface temperature dataset, incorporating a substantially larger number of weather station records than other analyses through its statistical methodology. It provides global and regional land and ocean temperature records from 1850 to the present, with uncertainty estimates, and also publishes air quality data. All datasets are freely downloadable from the Berkeley Earth website.
